Although each round has been allocated a specific date, this is more of an overall target schedule than a rigid timetable. Games may be played in any order, and at any time agreed by both players. Arguably the best time to play a club championship game is on the same night as a home match, provided neither player is involved in the match. Several of us are playing with varying degrees of regularity for more than one team, so this will not always be possible. For this reason, the suggested dates for each round do not clash with home matches.

For ECF grading purposes, games should be played over the board and not online. The time limit is slightly less than for league matches (1h30 for each player for all moves).
